Health Show 11:00-12:00
11:00-11:30 Frankie speaks with astrologer Bob Ayers regarding “ASTROLOGICAL ALCHEMY The Astrology of Self-Transformation CYCLES OF THE MOON New Moon in Scorpio / Full Moon in Taurus Election Day.” The U.S. presidential election is on November 4, during this New Moon/seed planting time. An old order is dying away and a new direction is waiting in the wings. Another level of change that is represented in the New Moon chart is that transiting Saturn and Uranus are forming an exact opposition for the first time in 40 years on Election Day. The last time that this occurred was from 1965-1967, a time of significant turmoil and change. Saturn represents the old conventional, traditional, conservative order. Uranus rules the new unconventional, non-traditional, liberal energy of the future. These very opposite expressions of consciousness are clearly represented in our choice for the presidency.

11:30-12:00 Frankie Speaks with Jane Hersey discussing “Halloween Candy: A Witch's Brew of Chemicals?” Most people enjoy preparing for Halloween by stocking up on sweets for trick-or-treaters. But you might want to think twice before buying some Halloween candies, because the dyes coloring them have been linked with hyperactivity and attention problems. This link is so strong that the European Parliament recently passed legislation requiring labels on foods containing synthetic dyes to warn that they “may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children” and the Center for Science in the Public Interest petitioned the Food and Drug Administration to ban these dyes. According to Jane Hersey, director of the nonprofit Feingold Association, both actions were in response to a highly acclaimed British study, published in Lancet, which concluded that six synthetic food dyes trigger hyperactivity and inattention in all children, as well as a Harvard/Columbia University meta-analysis of previous studies. If you’re a Parent you CANNOT miss this segment!
