Health Show 11:00-12:00
11:00-11:30 Frankie speaks to Kris Carr book is “Crazy Sexy Cancer Survivor: More Rebellion and Fire for Your Healing Journey.” Carr spins off her original Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips in this uplifting guide. She begins with her own story—the discovery of inoperable Stage IV cancer in her liver and lungs—then covers four main topics: diagnosis, mind, body and spirit. Though she admits to having bad days, Carr follows her own advice to shake off passive malaise. The upbeat Carr makes it easy to forget she has cancer, yet she touches upon some grim statistics: by 2050 half of all women and one third of all men will have some form of the disease. Carr—who proves that living with cancer is truly an option—explains I always try to talk about my cancer in a bold and confidant way.
11:30-12:00 Frankie welcomes the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. Campaign for Safe Cosmetics’ goal is to protect the health of consumers and workers by requiring the health and beauty industry to phase out the use of chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects and other health problems, and replace them with safer alternatives. Personal care products like shampoo, conditioner, after shave, lotion and makeup are essentially not regulated by the FDA or any other government agency. Industry is self-governed by Cosmetics Ingredient Review Panel. They focus their safety reviews on issues such as allergic reactions and rashes, not links to long term chronic diseases such as cancer and reproductive disorders. Some examples of toxic chemicals in personal care products include:
- Mercury, (often listed as thimerosal on ingredient labels) found in some eye drops, ointment and deodorants
- Lead acetate, found in some hair dyes and cleanser
- Formaldehyde and toluene, found in nail products
- Coal tar, found in dandruff shampoos, anti-itch creams and hair dyes
- Placenta, found in some hair relaxers, moisturizers and toners
- Phthalates, found in some nail polish, fragrances and hair spray.

Lifestyle Show 12:00-1:00
12:20-12:40 Frankie speaks to Susan Moss author of the fascinating “Keep Your Breasts!
Preventing breast cancer the natural way.” A high-risk candidate for breast cancer (her aunt had a mastectomy) she said "NO" to seeing a surgeon when her gynecologist found a stone like lump in her breast and tumor in her uterus. Instead she devised a health program covering every aspect of her life: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. In two months she was rid of both tumors. Knowledge is Power. This book could save your life or the life of a loved one. www.susanhmoss.com

Beckett is a field paleo-imaging expert in endoscopy, a Fulbright Scholar (senior specialist) in anthropology, and the co-host of the National Geographic Channel’s ‘The Mummy Road Show.’ There's nothing like a good Restored Mummy Story to rekindle mankind's faith in the Market and in Humanity. Not to mention political leaders. Dead, mummified ones seem to inspire the most adoration in this Papua New Guinea Tribe!
