Founder & President of Living Lands & Waters, Chad Pregracke, is living, breathing proof that one person can make a difference. Taking care to let others know how much he appreciates their good work, volunteer efforts, in-kind contributions and monetary donations is just a natural part of Chad Pregracke engaging personality. Chad raises the bar on leadership, motivating others through his infectious positive outlook and incomparable sense of humor. The Mississippi River was literally Chad’s back yard while he was growing up. The son of educators and river enthusiasts, KeeKee and Gary Pregracke, he spent the majority of his time on, in, and around the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. Chad’s brother, Brent, is a commercial fisherman who on occasion, sometimes makes an appearance as a Big River Educational Workshop expert. While attending high school and college he worked as a commercial shell diver, a commercial fisherman, and barge hand during the summers. He sometimes lived on the islands of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers during that time. While there, he noticed that the condition of the rivers was getting worse due to the accumulation of trash on the shorelines. Kathy Casso is Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for Anheuser-Busch, Inc., St. Louis, Mo. She leads a department charged with providing a unified platform to strategically highlight and enhance the company’s leadership role in various areas of corporate social responsibility, including Anheuser-Busch’s longstanding commitment to promoting responsible drinking and environmental awareness. The first GREAT MISSISSIPPI RIVER CLEANUP will remove debris, such as tires, appliances, plastic bottles and even a message in a bottle or two, from the shorelines of the upper Mississippi River this June. Thousands of people will be involved in this cleanup, but many more are needed for river cleanup projects throughout the nation. At a time when the Gulf oil spill has tweaked the environmental sensibilities of the nation, river expert Chad Pegracke will be on a recycling barge in the Mississippi River with the majestic Gateway Arch in the background. The river expert has an important message on how people can get involved in efforts to save our rivers and waterways. He’ll be joined by Kathy Casso, who also has an inspiring story. She’ll tell how employees of Anheuser-Bush have made cleaning up the Mississippi an annual event, and how other companies can get involved, too. Pegracke founded Living Lands & Waters, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving our nation’s rivers and water ways. He has appeared on numerous national TV and radio shows authored a book about his passion for teaching people the importance of protecting America’s waterways. John Willard is the grandson of the founder and creator of Willard Water who has recently joined the Willard Water team following the death of his uncle. He’s making some significant and exciting changes in how they market and distribute Willard Water. His background is in politics, communications and media relations. He worked for the Clinton Administration under the Secretary of Agriculture, and for Tim Johnson. Dr. John W. Willard, Ph.D, invented Catalyst Altered Water (CAW) in the late 1960s and re-named his product “Willard Water®” shortly after 60 Minutes aired a detailed story on Dr. Willard and his invention in 1980. Willard Water® is many things to many people, and is used in a variety of ways. What seems to be the common denominator is that Dr. Willard’s Water® is a more efficient form of water. Technically, the molecular structure of H2O is altered by a catalyst. As a result, the Catalyst Altered Water (CAW) acts as a normalizer on all living things not in a healthy state. When consumed regularly, Dr. Willard’s Water® can help assimilate nutrients more efficiently, increase enzyme activity and strengthen the immune system. For more on this wonderful product please visit www.drwillard.com
