Sixty percent of small business owners reveal their recent stress levels are increasing, with many identifying fiscal management as the primary source, according to a survey released today by TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank.®
The Stress of Owning a Business
TD Bank’s survey—which polled more than 400 small business owners across the bank’s Maine to Florida footprint—reveals many are feeling financial pressure, with more than one-third counting managing finances as the top stress inducer, and nearly half (45 percent) admitting to spending more time than they’d like on money management.
The main culprits of stress include:
Managing finances (33%)
Managing employees (20%)
• Sales/marketing (18%)
• Customer/client relations (17%)
• Working long hours (11%)
