People’s religious beliefs often are shaped by their families and, traditionally, they are stuck with the religion they had been part of since birth. But some Americans, especially young adults, indicate they are willing to break ties with mom and dad’s religion. A recent Pew Research Center study revealed that the Christian share of the U.S. population is declining, while the number of U.S. adults who do not identify with any organized religion is growing. Regardless of specific religious beliefs, it’s not a bad thing for people to question what they believe and why they believe it, says Brian Kenneth Swain, an engineer, businessman and award-winning fiction writer who addresses religious themes in his work.“I think it’s important for all of us to be willing to thoughtfully scrutinize the foundations of whatever it is we believe or, for atheists, don’t believe,” says Swain, author of Sistina www.briankennethswain.com, a novel that explores the notion that the resurrection did not occur in the way in which it’s described in the Bible. Ξ While presidential candidates continue to crowd the GOP tent, Bernie Sanders is beginning to be a contender against Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side. Who else will step up as our potential leader in 2016? “Sometimes, we get lost in the forest of politics, especially during presidential elections,” says professor Emilio Iodice, author of a new book, Future Shock 2.0, The Dragon Brief 2020, http://www.amazon.com/Future-Shock-2-0-Emilio-Iodice/dp/0929652371/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1434708855&sr=1-2&refinements=p_27%3AEmilio+Iodice. “We forget what this is all about. It deals with Leadership. We must have now, more than ever, strong, ethical, courageous and compassionate leaders to deal with the crises facing our planet and our people. We need a reformer.” Ξ It’s undeniable that America’s heart disease burden kills 1 in 4 people every year and that it is the leading cause of death for most ethnicities in the United States according to the CDC. Renowned cardiologist and controversial natural doctor Jack Wolfson, DO, FACC contends in his new book, The Paleo Cardiologist that poor nutrition and sugar addiction is the true culprit in heart disease with too many people believing that doctor prescribed statins, aspirin and procedures will cure their heart problems – when in fact, it can be deadly. The Paleo Cardiologist teaches how to stop poisoning your body to gain phenomenal health and better energy.Dr. Wolfson encourages his patients and readers to eat organic food, free-range meat, wild seafood, stop their intake of sugar, gluten, and processed foods; remove chemical treated carpet, toxic foam mattresses, scented house cleaners and you will find you can wake up stronger and sleep more restfully; exercise more, laugh often and distress your life for less sickness.
